The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia Online Previous: CONSIDER Next: CONSOLATION CONSISTkon-sist' (sunistemi): To stand together, exist, subsist (Colossians 1:17, "in him all things consist," i.e. the continuance of the universe is dependent upon His support and administration).
