bas'-tha-i, bas'-thi (Basthai; the King James Version Bastai; 1 Esdras 5:31 = Besai (Ezra 2:49; Nehemiah 7:52)): The descendants of Basthai (temple-servants) returned with Zerubbabel to Jerusalem.
